Angelina’s focus on volunteering has been directed towards youth development since university, and her career in the public service at the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority has allowed her many opportunities to apply that focus through the Authority’s programmes.
Angelina is a lawyer and was awarded her JD from the University of Windsor in Canada in 2003 after completing a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in English and a Bachelor of Arts in History at Queen’s University at Kingston in 2000. Her family is Caymanian, going back many generations, although Angelina was born and raised in Canada. This gives her insight into what it is like to be both Caymanian and a young immigrant to Cayman. Angelina hopes that her experiences help strengthen the Y and enable its programmes to continue to thrive.
