Garth is the 2012 Young Caymanian Leadership Award (YCLA) Recipient. He is a graduate of John Gray High School and received his Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Miami and his Master’s Degree in Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
Garth serves as Managing Director of Arch and Godfrey and is also the Founder of Arch Engineering. He is a Registered Professional Engineer in the U.S. (Florida and California) in addition to being both a Chartered Civil Engineer and a Chartered Structural Engineer in the U.K.
He is also a Chartered Builder and the first Ambassador of the Chartered Institute of Building to the Cayman Islands.
Garth is a Christian and member of First Baptist Church of Grand Cayman. In his commitment to public service, Garth is Chairman of the Children and Youth Services (CAYS) Foundation Board, Chairman of the Trade and Business Licensing Board, Immediate Past-President of the Cayman Society of Architects, Surveyors and Engineers (CASE), and a member of the Rotary Club of Grand Cayman Sunrise. He is also the first appointed Honorary Consul of Spain in the Cayman Islands.
In his free time he enjoys spending time with his wife and scuba diving.
