Sharon Roulstone was born and raised in George Town, Grand Cayman, a 10th generation Caymanian. She is an Attorney-At-Law and Notary Public having obtained her LL.B (Hons) from the University of Liverpool and Diploma in Legal Procedure from The Queen’s University, Belfast.
Sharon is a member of the Cayman Islands Baptist Church and the National Cultural Foundation (CNCF) as well as serves as a director in several privately held Cayman companies. She is a founding member of the Cayman Arts Festival the dual aim of which is to bring world class performers to Cayman as well as provide music education/instruments to school aged children throughout Cayman.
Sharon has always been active in the community in various capacities having chaired several important Government boards as well as being involved in youth football (soccer) development. She is currently the team manager of an Under18 Girls football team, her true passion having previously played the sport herself.
Sharon was awarded the Certificate & Badge of Honour by H.M. Queen Elizabeth II in 2010 for services to the Cayman community. She has one daughter, Katherine Bovre.
